(Sharecast News) - The market spotlight at the end of the week will continue to shine brightest on China, where consumer and factory gate price data covering the month of July are both due out overnight, possibly alongside money supply and credit growth data.
Against that backdrop, investors will be monitoring a barrage of UK economic indicators, including on second quarter gross domestic product, as well as for foreign trade, and industrial output in June, all at 0930 BST.

Stateside, wholesale price figures for July are also scheduled for release, at 1330 BST.

Across the Channel meanwhile, the focus will be on reports on German foreign trade and French industrial production, both covering the month of June.

On the corporate side of things, UBS analyst Bilal Aziz said the focus in G4S's interim results will be on any news around the potential break-up of the security services outsourcing firm.

Indeed, Aziz continued to see a clean transaction for the whole of the Cash Solutions unit as the only real scenario that might drive "significant upside".

For the latest six-month stretch, the analyst was anticipating organic growth of 4.5% for earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation of £225.0 with margins slipping by around five basis points versus a year ago.

In Cash Solutions, organic growth was seen printing at 4.2% and at approximately 5.0% in the Secure Solutions arm.

The analyst also expected the company to report "still strong" momentum in Africa (9.0%) and the Americas (7.5%).
