Junior ISA – Account types

The Share Centre offers 3 types of Stocks and Shares Junior ISA:

Ready-made Junior ISA

Not sure what to invest in or want an account which you don't need to actively manage? Our ready-made Junior ISA invests in our sister company Sharefunds' 'SF Positive Fund'. This 'basket' of funds from well known investment houses enables you to benefit from our expertise and spread risk by diversifying across different markets and sectors. The aim is to achieve strong capital growth and a steady income, all wrapped up in a medium risk package. Please read the SF Positive fund's Simplified Prospectus.

Funds Junior ISA

Catering for those who wish to invest in funds only (Unit Trusts & OEICs), our Funds Junior ISA features lower admin fees than our DIY Junior ISA. Funds enable you to easily diversify your portfolio and benefit from Fund Managers' investment experience.

You'll also get access to our Platinum 120 range of funds, handpicked by our experts. All 120 funds have no purchase commission and the majority have no initial charge.

DIY Junior ISA

Giving you complete control, our flexible DIY Junior ISA makes it easy for you to purchase a wide range of Junior ISA-eligible investments including stocks and shares, funds, investment trusts, gilts, bonds and exchange traded products (ETFs and ETCs).

Please note: As per H M Revenue & Customs regulations, the majority of AIM (Alternative Investment Market) listed shares cannot be held within a Junior ISA.
